The Problem: Power interruptions keep your air mattress going out all the time.  The Ultra Convertible Hybrid foam mattress is a great solution to power interruptions because it is constructed like an air mattress but has foam inside the air bladders to keep each air cell supported.  This mattress is as deep as an air mattress and works with or without a pump because of its self adjusting pressure redistribution system using connected air chamber technology constantly migrating air throughout the system while self adjusting to every patient’s movement.  The top 2 inches is the newest most advanced foam available providing unprecedented comfort and maximum immersion for patients with high risk of skin breakdown or wounds.  Heel section design offloads lower leg pressure to float the sensitive heel area.  To keep the patient centered there are lateral full length high density foam rails that assist with ingress and egress.  Top cover fabric is a plush micro-climate vapor permeable, fluid proof, low friction and 4 way stretch immersion fabric.   The optional pump provides alternating pressure for enhanced treatment and wound healing.
