VersaChair Brochure

The VersaChair is an advanced stand-assist medical ortho chair tailored for plus-size patients with limited mobility, offering versatile functionality across various clinical settings. Equipped with precision battery-operated actuators, the VersaChair allows effortless position adjustments at the touch of a button. Its ‘push-to-run’ controls, powered by an 8-hour battery, enable seamless transitions between supine and sitting positions using dedicated chair and table buttons. The chair can also tilt backward up to 25 degrees to redistribute pressure and aid repositioning. With a 12-inch seat height adjustment range via high-low buttons, the VersaChair facilitates easy entry and lateral transfers. Its side rails adjust to three positions and can be lowered for pivot transfers from a bed, while removable or flip-up footplates ensure secure floor contact for the patient’s feet.

The VersaChair excels in bariatric standing support with pre programmed postural positions, offering a safer alternative to standing from a bed’s edge. Starting in a raised position, it guides patients to a natural ‘nose over toes’ standing posture with feet firmly on the floor. The stand-assist feature progresses from position 2 to 3, reaching a 65-degree upright angle for 90 percent weight-bearing, promoting active closed-chain exercise.

Optional Features: The Propel drive supports no-lift initiatives for transporting heavier patients within a facility. An optional sit-to-stand feature enhances safety for both patients and staff during standing. Adjustable retractable grab handles provide added security, and independently elevating leg rests accommodate straight-leg sitting for enhanced comfort.
